They’re cheering in this village just east of Fallujah because that small stream means these villagers, will have clean, inexpensive drinking water.

Here a colossal wall relief in the Northwest Palace of King Ashurnasirpal II (884 BC-859 BC) at Nimrud (Calah), the second capital of the Neo-Assyrian Empire, is on display.
